Plenty of action last night with about 80% of the teams playing, and more on tap for Saturday. Here's what we know about what happened yesterday, gathered from reports sent to us from team representatives, coaches, players and parents, as well as what we've been able to gather from local newspapers and websites. If you know of a game that we missed, a score that is unreported, or some details that we're missing, send it in via e-mail.

Academy League
Calvary Chapel Downey 58, Brethren Christian 21--Matt Henderson scored 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead Calvary Chapel in a decisive league win over Brethren Christian. .
St. Margaret's 74, Capistrano Valley Christian 54 --St. Margaret's (8-8, 4-1) was led by Paul Janczyk who finished with 28 points.
Agape League
Antelope Valley Christian 69, Hesperia Christian 57 --Jeremiah Nurse had 20 points for Antelope Valley Christian (12-5, 4-0). Josh Hamilton had 20 points for Hesperia Christian.HCS 17 15 13 12--57 AVC 17 14 19 19--69. Hesperia Christian shot only 6-23 from three point range. AVC's Tony Vebelhardt finished with 17. Eagle forward Eun Sik Yoo had 10 points and 11 rebounds, most in the second half, and the Patriots had no answer for him. HCS center Nate Patterson finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds. HCS is now 2-2 in league.
Apple Valley 81, Joshua Springs 34 --Josh Dillion scored 27 points to lead Apple Valley (15-1, 4-0 in league) over Joshua Springs (11-5, 1-3). Josh Dillon also dished out 12 assists and had 5 steals. Apple Valley Christian also received 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocked shots from Ryan Manahl. Kevin Dillon added 8 points and 6 steals for the Warriors. Andre Conner scored 13 points for Joshua Springs.

Alhambra 66, San Gabriel 49--details not immediately available.
Bell Gardens 67, Schurr 64 --Arsenio Ramirez scored a game-high 22 points for Bell Gardens (6-14, 2-2) and teammate Miguel Rosales had 13 points and 15 rebounds. Schurr (8-10, 3-1) was led by Shaun Oshita's 17 points. Schurr committed 13 turnovers in the game.
Montebello 69, Mark Keppel 50 --Ian Parks scored 20 points to lead host Montebello (14-6, 4-0). Mark Keppel is 0-4 in league. Montebello held Keppel to just one point in the first quarter.
Alpha League
Paraclete 51, L.A. Baptist 50 --Drew Gil completed a three-point play with 24 seconds left and Paraclete (6-11, 3-0) denied L.A. Baptist a final shot for the victory. Gil and Matt Marquez each finished with 15 points for Paraclete.

Arrowhead League
Hamilton 52, Sherman Indian 46 --John Minert scored 15 points for Hamilton (7-8, 5-2). Sherman Indian is 7-6, 3-2.
La Verne Lutheran 69, Ambassador Christian 47--Senior Brandon Theus was a quadruple threat with 19 points, eight rebounds, three steals and 13 assists in the Trojans' Arrowhead League triumph. Lutheran (8-5, 3-2) also got 21 points and eight rebounds from David Beckett and nine points, eight blocks and 17 rebounds from John Harmon. Jose Guzman scored 15 points and Brandon Giden added 13 for the Dawgs.
Baseline League
Claremont 86, Walnut 70--Claremont (15-6, 3-2) was led by Shaddean Aaron, who had 26 points to go with six assists. Cameron Munoz scored 18 points and Kenny Penn added 19 points and eight rebounds. Yugi Kimura scored 13 points to pace Walnut.
Glendora 67, Chino 38 --Larry Monroe scored 26 points and Spencer Foster had 17 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for Glendora (17-1, 5-0), which pulled away with a 21-3 fourth-quarter surge. Justin Onaka added 10 points. Chino (9-10, 2-3) was led by Aaron Marcy with 18 points and Robert White with 10.
Upland 85, Don Lugo 56 --Bryan Burrell led Highlanders with 20 points and seven steals and Eric Holland added 14 points and five steals. Upland (14-6, 4-1) also received seven points and 11 rebounds from Andre Lee. Don Lugo (0-5) was led by Richard Snyder's 13 points.
Bay League
Compton Centennial 55, El Segundo 45-- Visiting Centennial (17-0, 7-0) outscored El Segundo (17-3, 6-1) 16-6 in the fourth quarter and forced six turnovers in the period as the Apaches held El Segundo's Dashawn Strong to only two points in the final period; he scored all 10 of El Segundo's third quarter points. Strong finished with 22 points to lead all scorers. Darius Sanders finished with 16 points (according to the Breeze; according to the LA Times, he had 18) and six rebounds to lead the Apaches. El Segundo's Jeramie Hopson finished with 14. Gabriel Pruitt had a team high 17 for Centennial, including 10 in the fourth quarter which included two consecutive three-pointers, and backcourt teammate Aaron Afflalo added 13.
Leuzinger 62, Morningside 56 -- Dorell Wright had 23 points and 11 rebounds as the visiting Olympians (7-12, 2-5) topped the Monarchs (3-14, 0-7). Darrell Street secured 16 points and nine rebounds for Leuzinger, and Billy Stone added 12 for the Olympians. Alan Goodwin paced Morningside with 22 points and 17 rebounds. Travone Vickers chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Monarchs.
Inglewood 73, North Torrance 57--Senior guard Jason McKinney (5'-11" Sr. PG) was benched for the first half for being late to the game but finished with 12 points, all in the third quarter to help the Sentinels (15-4, 5-2) recover from a two game losing streak with the win over visiting North Torrance (10-7, 2-4). Inglewood trailed by 5 at the half, but outscored North Torrance 26-12 in the third, behind Ray Reed's outside shooting and McKinney's driving. Reed finished with 14 points and five assists, while teammates Ron Ligon had 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Chris Halloway and Chris Bell each scored 10. North Torrance was led by Kenny Brown with 20 points and Jun Senesac with 17.
Peninsula 62, Mira Costa 52--Kent Krekorian had 13 points to lead four Panthers in double-figures as the Panthers (14-6, 5-2) topped the visiting Mustangs (9-10, 3-4). Kevin Gardner added 12 for Peninsula, Zach Freeman chipped in with 11 and Shawn Weinstein had 10. Aaron Harris paced Mira Costa with 18 points and Steve Bertrand had 10.
Redondo 76, Santa Monica 62 --Adam Zahn had 24 points for Redondo. Brett De Angelis had 21 points for Santa Monica which hit 11 three pointers in the game. Eddie Topps finished with 16 and Wendell White added 15 for Redondo.
Camino Real League
St. Monica 61, Mary Star 54--Jeff Fiamengo collected 17 points, five rebounds and four assists, but the Stars (7-12, 2-2) lost at home. Chris Navarre contributed 16 points and seven rebounds, and Marc Vuoso also grabbed six rebounds

Buena 74, Dos Pueblos 58--Freshman Phil Friessen led the Dos Pueblos Chargers (11-8, 1-3) with 12 points and Jonathan Pickert added 11, but it Buena (12-9, 1-3) went on a 14-1 run at the end of the second quarter, and Dos Pueblos never recovered, hitting only 15 of 40 attempts from the floor. Buena outscored the chargers 16-6 in the third quarter to solidify the lead. The Dons limited Ventura to just 11 field goals, holding the Cougars to just 9 points in the first half. Ventura is 1-3 in league. Michael Fisher had 11 rebounds and Santiago Aguirre scored 12 points for Santa Barbara. Woodcrest Christian (10-7, 5-1) led at halftime 41-30 but Arrowhead Christian (10-6, 2-4) closed to within three points in the second half before failing. A.B. Miller 62, Redlands 53 --Senior guard Victor Michel (6'-0" Sr. G) scored 26 points to lead A.B. Miller (17-4, 3-1), and Jeremiah Ward (5'-11" Jr. G) added 18 points, six assists and five rebounds in the win over Redlands (8-11, 1-3) which played without leading scorer Jacob Ramirez because of his ejection from their previous game. Senior guard T.J. Smith scored 10 points and Jonathan Littleton added seven points in the win for Rebels, who forced 32 turnovers in the game. Eisenhower 86, Rialto 57 --Sean Marshall scored 24 points, 12 rebounds and six assists to lead Eisenhower (17-2, 4-0). Cory McJimson added 18 points and nine boards for Eisenhower. The Eagles scored 21 points in the game's first 5:30, and led 50-22 at halftime. Johnny Dukes added 13 points and added seven rebounds, while Cory McJimson had 18 points and eight rebounds for Eisenhower. After Rialto scored a bucket to open the game on an offensive rebound by Michael Williams, Ike went on a 12-2 run. Marshall scored six consecutive times after that, and then went on another 9-0 run later in the quarter. At the end of the first quarter, Marshall had 11 points and the Eagles led Rialto 24-11. In the second quarter Marshall, Dukes, and Cory McJimson scored 23 as the Eagles went on a 15-2 run to extend the lead to 43-18, and 50-22 at the half. Robertson was the bright spot for Rialto (10-10, 1-3) scoring 13 points and adding seven rebounds while having to deal with foul trouble for some of the first half. Kenny Autry added 13 points for Rialto, but was the only really effective ball handler for the Knights who turned the ball over 18 times.
Fontana 83, Redlands East Valley 75--Sophomore guard Ira Graham scored 24 points and Gold Okolugbo added 22 points and eight rebounds to lead Fontana (7-8, 3-1) over Redlands East Valley (6-14, 0-4). Darryl Diggins scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win for the Steelers. A 10-0 run in the fourth quarter helped lift the Steelers to win. Twentynine Palms 65, Banning 49--Junior 6-1 forward Dynamite Matthews had 22 points and 22 rebounds, and junior 6-0 guard Bryan Cromwell had 11 points and six steals as the Wildcats (10-6, 6-2 ) beat the visiting Broncos (6-2). Flamingo Malone led Banning with 17 points.

Crossroads 57, Brentwood 47 --Joe Abrahams scored 23 points to lead Crossroads (12-5, 5-0).
Montclair Prep 65, Whitney 35 --Nick Stiggers had 26 points to lead Montclair Prep (8-9, 3-1). Marko Bozovic scored 16.
Del Rey League
Bishop Montgomery 70, Bishop Amat 55 --Fred Washington led host Bishop Montgomery (16-5, 3-1) with 36 points and five rebounds. Gavin Lee finished with 11 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Ryan Howard had seven assists.
St. Paul 49, St. Bernard 47 --St. Paul held off a late St Bernard rally to win at home. Kevin Dyer scored 19 to lead St. Paul (12-11, 1-3). Bruce Bevans scored 20 to lead St. Bernard (7-15, 0-4). St. Paul's Rudy Serna finished the game with 12 points and added four 3-pointers. Rocky Hinds added eight points, nine rebounds and two blocks. St. Bernard had time to get off a shot, but turned the ball over in their last second shot attempt.
Del Rio League
El Rancho 66, California 65 (OT) --El Rancho (10-10, 5-0) guard Albert Santa Cruz hit two free throws in the final minute and then hit a three pointer in overtime to lead El Rancho to the final margin of victory. Bobby Miller hit a five-foot bank shot to give El Rancho a 64-62 lead. Santa Cruz scored five of his 20 points in overtime. Miller finished with 24.
Whittier 49, Pioneer 48 --Michael Hernandez, who led all scorers with 22 points, hit a free throw with 35 seconds left to secure the win for Whittier (15-3, 4-1) over Pioneer (2-16, 1-4)
La Serna 55, Santa Fe 42--La Serna (10-12, 2-3), helped by a 20-7 run in the fourth quarter, picked up the win over visiting Santa Fe (7-14, 2-3). Santa Fe led throughout most of the second and third quarters by as much as 9, but La Serna's fourth quarter outburst secured the win. Dusty Zuber led La Serna with 13 points, and Matt Jackman and John Picone, each had 10. Picone, coming off knee surgery, also pulled down 10 rebounds. Santa Fe was led by Josh Silva with 12 points.
Desert Mountain League
Desert Christian 84, Lone Pine 62 --Randall Barbour scored 30 points for Lone Pine.

Silver Valley 61, Lucerne Valley 36-- Junior 6-1 forward Ricky Johnson had 15 points as the Trojans (3-15, 1-3) defeated the visiting Mustangs (0-4 in league) in a Desert Mountain League game played at Fort Irwin. Sophomore 5-9 guard Eric Anderson and freshman 5-10 guard Lucas Blankenship each had nine points in the victory.
Desert Sky League
Apple Valley 50, Granite Hills 43 --Jamal Holden scored 18 points to lead Apple Valley. Danny Lee scored 15 for Granite Hills (5-12, 1-3).
Ridgecrest Burroughs 70, Barstow 60 00Gavin MacGregor led Ridgecrest Burroughs (9-7, 2-2) with 25 points and 17 rebounds against visiting Barstow (1-3 in league).
Silverado 69, Victor Valley 65 --Ryan Diggs had 27 points for Silverado(13-7, 4-0) in the win over Victor Valley (15-5, 2-2). DeJesus Bravo had 20 points for Victor Valley, and Davion Price added 15. With 31 seconds left, the Jackrabbits thought Joe Holly was fouled underneath the Victor Valley basket. But Silverado got the call, then Silverado's Ryan Diggs and Victor Valley's Mike Thompson traded some verbal jabs. That is when several Victor Valley players left the bench and Jorge-Paul Johnson got into the middle of things and was hit with the technical. Diggs made two of four free throws at the other end, lifting Silverado's lead from 65-63 to 67-63. Silverado also got the ball out of bounds and scored with 12 seconds left on a Matt Kernan layup for the win. Brandon Price added 10 points for Silverado. The Hawks played without standout guard Jaimie Lester, who was suspended from school, but will return next week. Silverado also managed the win despite the absences of Kyle Lewis and Lofton McDonald, both of whom have been removed from the team in recent weeks. Victor Valley was also missing a player, Steve Thompson, a senior forward who was injured in the first minutes of the first quarter.
Desert Valley League
Cathedral City 90, La Quinta 73 --Thomas Shewmake scored 31 points and pulled down 18 rebounds to lead Cathedral City (13-6, 6-1). Brandon Brown added 21 for Cathedral City in the win. Paul St. Angelo scored 36 points for La Quinta. Cathedral Citys Brandon Gray missed the game due to a football recruiting visit to UNLV. The Blackhawks leading scorer was Paul St. Angelo as he poured in 36 points. A.J. Kehl added 13 points of his own in the loss.
Indio 73, Desert Hot Springs 44--Junior foward Rodney King led all scorers with 13 points as the Rajahs impoved to 5-2 in the DVL. Center Earl Isaacson finished with 12. Johnny Horta, Anthony Lopez and Adrian Perez each added eight points in the victory. Gaurd Kenny Hanes finished with nine assists.
Palm Desert 71, Coachella Valley 57 --Donald Brady had 25 points Chase McQuillen had 21 points, including five three-pointers, for host Palm Desert (17-4, 7-0) over Coachella Valley (5-13, 1-6). Katella 48, El Dorado 42 --Katella (11-8, 2-2) rallied frm a three-point halftime deficit to upset El Dorado (16-4, 2-2). Jeff Clements had 10 points for Katella.

Foothill League
Hart 56, Canyon 53--Sophomore Adam Rich of Hart High (17-3, 4-0) scored 18 points, including two key free throws with 16 seconds remaining, as Hart held high-scoring Jeremy Haggerty of Canyon to just 13. Hart has now won 12 consecutive games. Mike Gentry added 13 points for Hart, Cody Kase had 10, Luke Hilmo 6 and Mich Paden 5. Chad Eichten scored 23 for Canyon (14-6, 2-2), which lost its second in a row. Ratcliff had 11, but no one else besides Haggerty had more than one basket.

Sonora 71, Fullerton 48 --Sonora (14-7, 4-0) was led by Laurence Knight who finished with a game-high 24 points.
Sunny Hills 50, La Habra 44 --Clay Carmody had 18 points for Sunny Hills (17-4, 4-0) over host La Habra.
Frontier League
Calabasas 73, Malibu 20 --Steve Saunders finished with 17 points for Calabasas (13-8, 3-1). His brother, Jason Saunders scored 13 and had 12 rebounds. Malibu is 0-4 in league, and managed to score only 12 points over the final three quarters, in comparison to Calabasas which tallied 61 in the same three quarters. Lopez also and pulled down eight rebounds while Andrew Zwers hit four 3-pointers to finish with 14 points and Carlos Mendez scored 11 for Santa Paula. Joe Mata scored 10 points and dished out eight assists. Jordan Swift scored 17 points to lead Nordoff, which fell to 1-3 in league. Highland 67, Littlerock 66-- With the Highland Bulldogs (10-8, 3-1) trailing 66-65 with six seconds remaining, guard Mike Stevenson drove the lane and put Highland ahead for the final margin of victory over the Littlerock Lobos (10-9, 2-2). Highland led by as much as six in the third, but Littlerock took a 66-64 lead on a basket by senior center Thaddeus Robinson. Ayala 64, Diamond Bar 46 --Dan Larson scored 16 points to lead host Ayala (11-7, 3-1) over Diamond Bar (10-9, 3-1). Kyle Gregory and Jason Fee added 14 points apiece to lead Ayala. Danny Stephens chipped in 10 points for the Bulldogs, who have won 27 straight at home dating back to 1999. Khalif Ford scored 14 points in the loss for Diamond Bar (10-9, 3-1).
Rowland 64, Nogales 41 --VaShon Pruitt led Rowland (14-6, 3-1) with 23 points on 10 for 11 shooting from the floor, and teammate Larry Tieu added 21 points, five rebounds and five steals in the win at Nogales (6-13, 0-4).

Capistrano Valley 67, Dana Hills 54 --Pete DeCasas had 21 points for Capistrano Valley (4-1 in league) in a South Coast League game at Dana Hills. Dana Hills (13-8, 1-4) got 11 points from Erland Wanberg.
Mission Viejo 62, El Toro 49 --Travis Niesen finished with 19 points for the Diablos, which improved to 5-0 in league play with the victory at El Toro (3-2 in league).
Trabuco Hills 71, San Clemente 56--Aaron Tudor led Trabuco Hills (12-9, 2-3) wth 24 points, 7 assist, and John Kupper finished with 17 in the win over San Clemente (7-14, 0-5).
With the first round of league games completed, and the teams taking a week off for finals, Mission Viejo leads the league at 5-0, Capo Valley is in second at 4-1, El Toro is in third at 3-2, Trabuco Hills is in 4th at 2-3, followed by Dana Hills in 5th at 1-4, and San Clemente bringing up the rear in 6th at 0-5. The next round of league games begins on January 25.
Southwestern League
Temescal Canyon 57, Chaparral 36 --Matt Twamley scored 12 to lead Temescal Canyon (12-7, 2-1) over Chaparral (14-8, 1-2). The Titans had three players score nine or more points, and the Pumas stumbled in the absence of leading scorer Will Campbell. The win moved Temescal into sole possession of second place, while dropping Chaparral into a three way tie for last place in league. Temescal Canyon also got 11 points from Marty Wing, and Mike Peterson scored nine, while Channing Corral had seven.
Elsinore 56, Temecula Valley 50--Elsinore (16-4, 3-1) used its football players and their tough style of play to pull out the win over visiting Temecula Valley (15-7, 1-2), including some particularly hard play from Ross Wolter, a 260 lb linebacker on the football team, who scored 8 points and helped Elsinore by grabbing 23 rebounds in the second half. Senior Travon Keahey, who finished with a game-high 22 points and 10 rebounds, buried a 3-pointer to give Elsinore a 54-51 advantage early in the fourth. Temecula Valley was led by Stuart Shepherd who hit 5 of 6 three-pointers to finish with 15 points.

Artesia 100, Glenn 30 --Jamel Gay had 29 points for Artesia (11-5, 4-1).
Bellflower 55, Norwalk 53 --Michael Hubbard scored 30 points to lead Bellflower (10-10, 3-2) over host Norwalk (5-14, 0-5). Josh Newton, who finished with 8 points, put back an offensive rebound with 12 second to give Bellflower the final margin of victory.

Bonita 60, South Hills 51 --Justin Miller and Nik Kannan each scored 16 points to lead Bonita (12-7, 5-2) at South Hills (1-6 in league). Kannan also had six steals and five rebounds. Bonita shot 10-of-12 from the foul line in the final quarter, with Kannan going 4-for-4 in the final two minutes to seal the win. Miller also grabbed seven rebounds. Mike Clark, who scored 12 points, was seven for seven from the line.
San Dimas 60, Covina 47 --Curtis Small had 25 points and Antouan Mesropim had 20 points and 14 rebounds for San Dimas (15-4, 7-0). The Saints ended the first half on a 7-0 run. Covina (15-4, 4-3) was led by Jino Labomme's 18 points. Brett Pill had 11 points for the Colts. Guard Ryan Gunderson hit two of San Dimas' game-high eight 3-pointers and finished with 10 points. Small had five 3-pointers.
Ganesha 67, Sierra Vista 41--Chris Reaves scored a game-high 27 points and Mike Efevberha added 15 points in the Giants' easy Valle Vista League victory. Ganesha improved to 16-4, 6-1.

AGBU 51, Summit View 50 (OT)--Rashad Lee scored 28 points in the loss for Summit View (2-11, 0-7).

Baptist Christian 75, Desert Christian 57--Despite Tim Smith scoring 27 points and pulling down 18 rebounds, Desert Christian fell to 5-10 on the season, as several players fouled out and the Conquerors were forced to finish the game with only four players. Jason Bluedorn added 11 points in the loss.

Murrieta Valley 72, Perris 71 -- At Perris, the Nighthawks overcame a 10-point third quarter deficit to beat the Panthers. Down by one with 18 seconds left, Murrieta (10-10) put the ball in the hands of Ike Williams. Williams drove the lane, and when he drew an extra defender from the post, dished off to A.J. McGregor, who put home the game-winner. Both Williams and McGregor scored 12 points as the Nighthawks had four players in double figures for the first time this season. Bryan Ricks scored a team-high 22 points, and Nick Quick scored 16 off the bench for Murrieta.

Banning 83, Narbonne 76-- Joey Saavedra turned in another big-time performance with 35 points, including six 3-pointers for Banning (10-4, 2-2). and Hytham Abed contributed 17 points for the Pilots. Kennis Porter added nine points, seven assists and eight rebounds for Banning . Geovanny Mendez scored eight points. Narbonne (12-6, 3-1) was outscored, 24-12, in the third quarter. Christian Smith led Narbonne with 24 points. Uzoma Mmeje had 17 points and Amir Fisher 13. Beto Delgado scored nine for Narbonne.
Carson 78, Gardena 74 --Carson overcame a five point deficit late in the fourth quarter to beat host Gardena (8-7,2-2). Ramon Prescotte scored 27 to lead Gardena. Mike Johnson and Samuel Hill hit late free throws and Ekene Ibekwe added 21 points to lead Carson in the road victory. Issac Thurman added nine points and 12 rebounds. Jeffrey Bryant scored nine.
Washington 57, San Pedro 40 --Wayne Chamberlain made 13 of 14 free throws and finished with 35 points for Washington (6-10, 2-2) in a Marine League win over host San Pedro (6-11, 0-4). Grant 88, Verdugo Hills 43 --Steven Kaufman had 27 points, including seven three pointers, for Grant (10-9, 2-2), while teammate Gino Riney added 19 points and 8 assists. Danny Castro had 22 for Verdugo Hills. Grant made a school-record 15 3-pointers in the game.
North Hollywood 62, Hollywood 53 --Hollywood (7-9, 1-3) was led by Dominique Willis with 25 points.
Valley Mission League
Monroe 62, Van Nuys 54 --Brandon James had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Monroe (5-14, 1-3).
San Fernando 72, Kennedy 70--Danny Rodriguez had seven three-pointers, including one with eight seconds left to give San Fernando a 72-69 lead. Rodriguez finished with 29 points for San Fernando (8-11, 2-2).
Sylmar 86, Reseda 82 (OT) --Jeff Morris scored 22 of his 26 points in the second half and five Sylmar (10-5, 4-0) players combined to make 13 of 14 free throws in overtime to help the Spartans break a 71-71 tie at the end of regulation. Steve Lone had 17 points for Reseda (10-4, 3-1), which played all of the fourth quarter and overtime without senior standout Sergei Lepashinski, who fouled out in the third quarter. Regent point guard Eric Johnson sat out for most of the overtime period with leg cramps, and without him, Reseda turned the ball over five times in the extra period. Johnson finished with 13 points and Keena Estrada had 15. For Sylmar, Louis Darby finished with 11 points, while Frank Robinson finished with 16.
Western League
Fairfax 94, Los Angeles 51 --Evan Burns had 20 points and 13 rebounds and Jahsha Bluntt had 19 points and Kevin Bell had 13 points and 12 assists for Fairfax (19-3, 5-1). Darnell Woods had 15 points for Los Angeles.
Palisades 83, Hamilton 49 --Fahn Bullah scored 21 points for Palisades.
University 79, Venice 59 --Junior Ruben Boykin of University, who is averaging 26 points per game, scored 38 to guide the Wildcats to a 79-59 victory over Venice in Western League play. Boykin also had 21 rebounds. University is now 2-4 in league and 14-7 overall. Venice is 0-6 and 4-10.
West Valley League
Cleveland 57, Taft 47 --Chris Madden had 13 points and Gabe Bernard had 12 rebounds to lead host Cleveland (11-7, 4-0). Steve Smith had 15 points for Taft (10-6, 2-2). Casey Bednash and Nick Young added 10 points apiece for the host Cavaliers
