Division IV-A boys bracket

This is a 32-team bracket with no "Wild-Card" games, and 5 "byes". The top seeds are No. 1 Verbum Dei, No. 2 Calvary Chapel Downey, No. 3 Serra, and No. 4 Montclair Prep, and the latter is the only "seeded" team not to bet a bye in the first round, whereas teams like Western Christian and Kilpatrick (who were rated higher for much of the season than Montclair Prep was in their pre-Nick Stiggers days) will get to scout their second round opponents this coming Wednedsay. Again, we'll have more on the teams in this bracket shortly, but in the meantime, ere's the bracket (host school is listed second):

All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office. Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. the day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host]. Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
