Whitewater 75,  Lone Pine 42--Gabriel Michael scored 19 points to lead Whitewater. Damien Poss scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Saints, who outscored Lone Pine by 30 points in the second and third quarters.

Pilibos 48, Buckley 45--Raffi Kazanjian scored 26 points for visiting Pilibos (14-7) in the upset win over the Griffins (18-6), who were led by senior point guard David Gale with 15 points on 6 for 7 shooting from two point range, one three pointer and six assists, and two blocks, the only blocks in the game.   Other than Gale's scoring, Buckley's offensive output was largely absent.  The Griffin's leading scorer Baron Abdul-Mansour had 14 defensive rebounds, but struggled mightily on the offensive end, shooting just 3 for 18 from the field and an uncharacteristic 0-3 from the line.  He finished with just 6 points, 14 below his season average of 20 ppg.  Tristan Seisa was the second leading scorer for the Griffins with 12 points and 6 rebounds, and Nick Brar finished with 8 points, while Alex Marshall had just 4 in the loss. Pilibos also received 10 points from John Tashdjian and 9 from Shant Tashdjian, 2 from Aram Zakian and 1 from Ashrag Shahinian.  Pilibos' slow-down strategy worked as they  ran down the shot clock on virtually every possession, and generally kept the Griffins out of a running game. Buckley led 9-8 at the end of one and 25-23 at the half.  Pilibos used a 16-11 third quarter to go ahead by the final margin of three, and the two teams scored even at 9-9 in the fourth despite several lead changes in the final quarter.  Buckley had several chances to tie the game and to win it outright in the final seconds, but poor free-throw shooting (one miss by Seisa and two by Marshall) in the final minutes, and a missed three pointer by senior Nick Brar in the final seconds, sealed the win for Pilibos which will meet Santa Clarita Christian, a team Buckley had already beaten in a tournament in December.

Santa Clarita Christian 74, Laguna Blanca 55 --Daniel Duncan had 23 points for Santa Clarita Christian (17-6). Eric Geeb led all scorers with 28 points for Laguna Blanca (9-13) and Jelani Hicks added 18. Andy Nelson had a team-high nine rebounds.  The Cardinals shot well, but they won the game under the boards. Led by senior forward Micah Panama’s 15 rebounds, Santa Clarita enjoyed a 39-22 edge on the glass. Panama added 13 points and junior Caleb Sulham scored 17. James Grayem chipped in with 10 points and 11 rebounds  Laguna Blanca scored just 13 points in the first half, but came out of the locker room running.  Taking advantage of the quickness of freshman point guard Jelani Hicks, who leads the team with a 24 point-per-game average, the Owls scored 24 points in the third quarter. Laguna Blanca-- Geeb 28, Haan 2, Jelani Hicks 18, Ryan Jeffrey 4, Andy Nelson 1, Nate Jones 2. Totals 22 8-13 55.
