The bracket has been updated to reflect all second round games, and quarterfinal round matchups are shown.  Home teams are the teams with the fewest home games played previously.  If both teams have the same number of home games, then the host is determined by a coin flip.  Details and scoring in second round games is shown below the bracket:

Upper Half of the Bracket

No. 1 Rolling Hills Prep 99, Grace Brethren 56 --Curtis Allen had 33 points and 13 rebounds, and teammate Jason Daley added 32 points and 10 rebounds for top-seeded Rolling Hills Prep (17-6) in the win over Grace Brethren (13-11).  RHP will play the Whitewater-La Sierra Academy winner (the winner will be determined Wednesday). D.J. Wright had 11 points and 10 assists, and Alex Elliott added eight points for Rolling Hills Prep.Grace Brethren wsa led by Evan Marme with 18 points and Eric Durso added 10. Santa Clarita Christian 55, Pilibos 47--Micah Panama and Daniel Duncan each had 15 points for the visiting Cardinals (18-6) in the second-round victory.

No. 4 Apple Valley Christian 57, Maricopa 43--Junior 6-1 forward Kevin Dillon had 18 points, nine rebounds and 10 steals as the visiting Warriors (23-1) defeated the Indians (19-2). Senior 6-0 guard Josh Dillon had seven assists and five steals to go with a team-high 19 points for Apple Valley Christian. Senior Jose Alvarado led Maricopa with 17 points in the season-ending loss

No. 3 Santa Clara 77, Newbury Park Adventist 50--Alex Minney scored 23 points and Anthony Marquez added 19 points for third-seeded Santa Clara which plays Pacific Hills on Friday. Charles Jenson scored 20 points for Newbury Park. Tim LaJoie pulled down 14 rebounds, 11 points and six assists to lead the Santa Clara.   Santa Clara jumped out to a 20-7 first-quarter lead and extended its lead to 41-20 by halftime.  Newbury Park Adventist (50) --Hamlin 1, Saesim 10, Heldt 3, Aspe 3, Davis 7, Malm 6, Jenson 18.  Santa Clara (76) -- Baukncht 2, Lottienville 3, J. LaJoie 4, Tamai 2, Hentley 2, Payne 1, Marquez 19, Minney 23, T. LaJoie 11, Griffin 9.   N.P. Adventist 7 13 11 19--50  Santa Clara 20 21 23 12--76 3-Point goals -- Newbury Park Adventist 2 (Davis 1, Heldt 1). Santa Clara 6 (Marquez 2, Minney 2, Griffin 1, Lottienville 1). Fouled out -- None. Pacific Hills 46, Riverside Christian 32--Adam Krief scored 14 points to lead host Pacific Hills (16-13), which plays third-seeded Santa Clara in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Valley Torah 64, Hillcrest Christian Granada Hills 61--Valley Torah (16-6) was led by Yossi Goldman with 33 points and 10 rebounds, 8 assists and six steals in the win over GH Hillcrest Christian (16-8).  Goldman drove for the game winning a layup with Valley Torah trailing 61-60. Yair Katz added 23 points and 17 rebounds for Valley Torah.

No. 2 Ribet 66, Villanova Prep 41--Caleb Bassey had 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead host Ribet (19-8), which plays Valley Torah Friday. Villanova Prep (15-9) was led by Djadji Daffe who scored 25 points in the loss. Villanova Prep (41) -- Tevis 7, Gibson 5, Daffe 25, Langelier 4.  Ribet Academy (66) -- Gaines 12, Shead 11, Bassey 22, Thomas 11, Fields 5, Clark 4, Mirmahahamyan 1.  Villanova Prep --7 14 15 5--41 Ribet Academy 17 19 17 13--66 3-Point goals -- Villanova 1 (Tevis 1). Ribet Academy 5 (Gaines 2, Shead 1, Thomas 2). Fouled out -- Daffe (V). Team record -- Villanova 15-9.


All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office.  Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. the day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host].  Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
