Division V-A boys bracket

This is a 32-team bracket with no wild-card games, and four "byes". The top seeds are No. 1 Price, No. 2 Stoneridge Prep, No. 3 Rio Hondo Prep, and No. 4 Antelope Valley Christian. Curiously, even though Price didn't finish as the league's number one representative (due to two forfeits), they still drew a #3 first round opponent, team so the Price Knights get a home game. The byes were handed out in a curious manner, and aside from Stoneridge Prep, no other seeded team gets to scout. Big Pine gets a bye (perhaps for travel reasons), as does Orangewood, and Desert Chapel. We'll have more on the matchups shortly, but in the meantime, here's the bracket (note, the host team is listed second).

All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office. Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. the day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host]. Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
