CIF-SS Boys Division III-A Bracket:
First Round Matchups Updated--(Feb. 13, 2002)

There was one wild card game on Wednesday, February 13. Here's what happened:

Ridgecrest Burroughs 71, Estancia 58 --Travis Kincaid had 20 points to lead Burroughs (13-9). Gavin MacGregor had 15 rebounds for the Burros which will travel to La Canada on Friday. Estancia junior forward Lewis Bradshaw had 12 points and 15 rebounds and freshman forward Carlos Pinto added a team-high 13 points and 10 rebounds. Senior guard Fernando Maldonado and 6-foot-7 junior center Joey Lindquist added 12 points apiece for the Eagles. Estancia 9 8 19 22 - 58 Burroughs 21 16 18 16 - 71 Estancia - Bradshaw 12, Pinto 13, Lindquist 12, Maldonado 12, Valdes 0, Snell 5, Novak 4, Andersen 0. 3-pt. goals - Maldonado 3, Novak 1, Snell 1. Fouled out - Lindquist. Technicals - none. Burroughs - Kincaid 25, Williams 14, Woodson 11, Toftner 1, Graham 6, Moorehead 1, Veit 2, MacGregor 9. 3-pt. goals - Kincaid 3. Fouled out - McGregor. Technicals - none.

All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office. Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. the day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host]. Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
