CIF-SS Boys I-A Bracket: Glendora & Rowland
1st Round Opponents--(Feb. 14, 2001)

Ok, here's the deal. Just spoke with the CIF folks, and now they've corrected their own website. Anything else you read yesterday in the LA Times or any other paper to the contrary is wrong, so forget it.

Glendora will play West Covina, the winner of Wild Card Game "E"

Rowland will play Edison, the winner of Wild Card Game "F"

Apparently, the confusion stemmed from the fact that "F" was showing up ahead of "E" in the bracket. The reason for that was because Warren (which played Edison in Wild Card "F") was originally left out of the draw. So Edison, which had been slated to play Rowland on Friday, was given a new wild-card opponent. Evidently the person who first worked on the CIF's website on Sunday, got it wrong, and had wild card "E" in the slot where "F" should have been and this was picked up by various newspapers.

So, we had it right all along.
