This Weekend's CIF-SoCal Regional
Final Schedules--(Mar. 13, 2002)

What: CIF State Southern Regionals
When: Saturday March 16, 2002
Where: Divisions I, II & III @ Long Beach Arena
Divisions IV and V @ Long Beach City College

The State CIF Southern Regional Finals will be taking place this weekend, and while there is quite a bit else going on (e.g., LACC-Rockfish Spring League, Pump Discovery Shootout), we're betting that among everyone competing at the other events, there's not one other place that any player would rather be than playing in the State Southern Regionals, and only a lucky few will have the opportunity to say they did that. Even fewer will have the opportunity to say they won the State SoCal regionals and thus earn the right to travel to Sacramento next week to play in the State Finals against the NorCal champs.

Here is the schedule for this weekend, for boys' and girls' games.

At The Long Beach Arena:

2:00 p.m.	Redondo Union v. Troy	Division II Girls

8:00 p.m.	Westchester v. LB Poly	Division I Boys

At Long Beach City College

1:00 p.m.	Pilgrim v. La Jolla Country Day	Division V Girls
3:00 p.m.	Price v. Reedly Immanuel	Division V Boys
5:00 p.m.	The Bishops v. St. Bernard	Division IV Girls
7:00 p.m.	Horizon v. Garces	Division IV Boys
