The Rockfish Spring League heads into its final weekend this Saturday and Sunday at Los Angeles City College, as the regular league participants will hold playoff games, followed on Sunday afternoon with the traditional "all-star" games.

Saturday, April 20, 2002 (Playoffs)

Game 1:   10:00 a.m.   #3 Swordfish vs. #6 Barracudas
Game 2:   11:30 a.m.   #2 Inland vs. #7 Dolphins
Game 3:   1:00 p.m.   #1 IEBP vs. #8 Bluefins

LACC is easily reached from anywhere.   It's about three blocks north of the Hollywood Freeway (the 101).  Exit at Vermont and head north.  The school is located on the west side of Vermont, between Melrose on the south and Santa  Monica Boulevard on the north.  If you go past Santa Monica, you've gone too far.... There is on-campus parking.  Just remember that if you park on the street on Saturday, you'll have to feed the meters or pay the consequences.

There is an admission charge of $ 3 (good all day), but it's worth it.   We don't have the complete rosters for the "outside" teams competing, (like IEBP or Inland),  but the No. 1 Rockfish seeded team is the No. 3 seeded Swordfish, coached by Rodney Robinson, and they hope to continue their surprising run through the league and avenge prior losses to both IEBP and Inland (they beat IEBP a week ago after losing in their first encounter).  Here are the standard RSL rosters we've been posting for weeks.  There have been some minor adjustments, movements and additions, but these are basically accurate:
