In the last 26 years, the old "Southern California College Open" has developed, changed and grown into what is now the nation's premier collegeiate summer league, the "Say No Classic." This league has had some of the greatest basketball players in the world pass through, including many who have made it to the NBA. This year should be no different, as the top players from all over the country who are from Southern California will either return home or remain in Los Angeles to compete in this NCAA certified summer league. The Say No League also has a very impressive website, with team roster information, a new message board, player bios, and more, so you'll be able to keep track of player appearances, stats, and the like.
The league tips off this weekend and will continue through August. It's an NCAA certified league (it's required to be in order for current D-I players to participate), so in addition to some of the top players, you'll also see some Division I coaches during the summer as well.
