Some Final ABCD Stats--Top 20 Assist Leaders
At ABCD Camp--(July 21, 2002)

	When:	July 8-11, 2002
	Where:	Fairleigh-Dickinson University Teaneck/Hackensack, New Jersey
	Who:	230 Top Prep Players

Here are the names of the top 20 assist leaders at the ABCD Camp held a week ago during the first NCAA "evaluation" period.   All (or most) of the leaders were point guards.  In the top 10 from SoCal were David Gale, Kalif Ford and Trevor Ariza.  Vincent Camper, who used to be from San Diego, but is now from Mississippi, might also be considered and he shot up the assist column the last two days, as did Deon Merritt who finished the camp with an astonishing 6.125 in average assists per game.

We are not aware of any comparable stats which were kept at the Nike Camp, so don't bother asking, because we don't have them.  These stats were compiled by a professional statistics service retained by adidas, so if you have a problem with them, contact adidas, not us.
