We posted a message about this shootout event a couple of weeks ago, and since then, we've discovered that there was some confusion about the type of event this would be. So here's the story: It's an event for high school teams (or at least high school summer league teams) only, not travel teams. Second, it's an NCAA-certified event, and is listed on the NCAA's own website as an approved event for Division I college basketball coaches to attend. Lastly, the field has expanded since we last wrote about this, from 16 teams to 24, and the daily schedule has also correspondingly lengthened a bit.

10: 00 a.m.	Brentwood vs. Santa Monica
11:00 a.m.	Montclair Prep vs. Esperanza
12:00 p.m.	Washington Prep vs. Serra
1:00 p.m.	Fountain Valley vs. Sylmar
2:10 p.m.	Ocean View vs. Verbum Dei
3:10 p.m.	Los Alamitos vs. Mission Prep
4:10 p.m.	Mira Costa vs. Long Beach Jordan
5:10 p.m.	St. John Bosco vs. Redondo Union
6:20 p.m.	Villa Park vs. Carson
7:20 p.m.	Artesia vs. Bishop Montgomery
8:20 p.m.	Mayfair vs. Northwood

As you can see, this is a very strong field, and assuming that some of the best players will be in town for this one, and considering that it takes place on a Sunday, it should be an outstanding event.
