DeAngelo Collins NOT Cut By

When a correction is in order, we'll be the first to acknowledge it. According to a source who spoke today with the Toronto Raptors' media relations manager, the reports that DeAngelo Collins was "cut" from the Raptors are incorrect, largely because the team never signed him. According to the Raptors, Collins had gone through a couple of workouts for the Raptors a while back but nothing was ever formalized and they really weren't interested. The Toronto paper which was quoted in "Slam Sports" the other day, was apparently way off base, and as we noted, the innuendo and statements that he was "cut" are just not correct. .
