Cal State Fullerton To Host BBQ & Scrimmage
On Saturday Oct. 26--(Sept. 30, 2002)

Cal State Fullerton is apparently not going to host a "midnight madness" event this year, at least none that we've heard about, but the Titan Hoop Club will be doing the next best thing:  The club will host a barbecue following the first open-to-the-public inter-squad scrimmage featuring the Cal State Fullerton Men's team, October 26, 2002 beginning at 10:00 a.m. This will be the second annual "Blue / White" scrimmage and barbecue, and will be the first public opportunity to see the 2002-03 men's basketball team in action before their first scheduled exhibition game against the LA Stars on November 13 at home.  Following the scrimmage, coaches, players and fans can mingle together at the barbecue luncehon.

The Titans this year feature probably one of the most improved rosters in the Big West, with five new JC transfers, and a player who is likely to be an NBA first-rounder next year, Pape Sow (6'-10" Sr. C) from Dakar, Senegal returning again for another run at an All-Big West Conference nod.
