valley sports foundation fall league

The Valley Sports Foundation does some nice things, including sponsoring the annual "Battle of the Valley" All-Star game each year at Cal State Northridge which features the best graduating seniors from the City and Southern Section teams in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, Conejo and Simi Valley areas. But they also run fall and spring leagues too, and this year, Jack Pollon, who is now an assistant at Cleveland under former CSUN assistant Andre Chevalier is helping to organize and put together what looks like a very nice league. We sorta, kinda figure we owe Jack this one as a consolation for some of the other events he's been involved with that we've only partially given coverage to, so we're going to post what he sent us the other day. The nice thing about this league, which will run at Cleveland and Reseda High Schools, is that it will take place on Saturdays, and therefore doesn't conflict with the Sunday ARC Fall League games that some of the teams participating will also no doubt play in. Jack claims the schedule below is "final" but we're sure there will be one or two minor tweaks as the league runs each weekend and something needs to get shuffled or changed. But for now, this is it. The league doesn't start until next weekend (a week from tomorrow) i.e. Saturday September 21 (which coincidentally is also the same weekend that Mats is holding his Annual "Sweet 16" Fall Tournament up in Fresno, but that's another story altogether), and will run every Saturday thereafter through October 26. Here's the complete schedule for the league:
