SoCalHoops HS Top 20
Division III-A--
(Feb. 9, 2002)

We've decided to issue a "pre-Playoffs" Top 20....not a final overall poll, but the last one we will issue on any kind of regular basis before a final post-season poll.   The playoff pairings will be announced this Sunday, so for what it's worth, here's our take on the teams we think are top teams in this division.  Please also note that we may not have completely accurate records for every team in the division.  We've been counting on the LA Times' Eric Maddy who compiles them every Sunday, and since we're doing this on a Friday night and Saturday morning, it's going to be tough to ensure 100% accuracy, but we'll give it a shot.

A special note on this Division:  We could only find 18 teams that will qualify based either on league finish or 11-wins.  Prediction:  Look for a 16 team bracket with a couple of byes for the top two seeds.....
