The 2001 LA Watts Summer Games will begin tomorrow at various gym sites around Los Angeles. Sponsored by the LA Junior Chamber of Commerce, the basketball tournament portion of the games (there are many other sports as well, including track & field, baseball, softball, volleyball, etc), is run by a dedicated group of volunteers, who deserve some special thanks (we'll do that later), who work long and hard to insure a quality tournament experience for those participating. And this year, the tournament will feature more than 128 boys and girls teams, more than 1200 players, at 16 different venues in a new, double-elimination tournament format.
Each bracket can be accessed by clicking on the name of the site below. We've listed all the teams participating in each bracket, for easy reference. You can also click on a site address to get a map with directions (maps can also be configured to give you personalized driving directions to the site.)
