CIF Southern Section Game
Schedules For Jan. 3--(Jan 3, 2001)

As we've done for the past few years, here are the CIF Southern Section schedules for the games which are supposed to be taking place today. We do not have start times, and as always, it is possible that these games have been rescheduled or that the CIF Southern Section media guide contains an error. As always, check with your local paper before heading out to a gym, especially if it involves a long drive. Most games are either at 7:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. but pre-printed schedule doesn't show game times, so you'll have to check to be certain. Some games can be even earlier, but we're not making any representations about start times, so you're on your own.
The CIF media guide contains the following caveat:
"Due to the fact thqat mahy schedules published herein were submitted to the CIF-SS office last June, some changes may have been made since. The CIF Southern Section recommends interested observers to contact member schools directly to confirm game dates, sites and starting times."
The schedule below is only the CIF-SS games scheduled for today. ++A special note: The CIF schedules have Chino & Diamond Ranch both playing each other. . .the only question is at what location. Diamond Ranch's schedule says the game is at Chino, whereas Chino's says it's at Diamond Ranch; same thing for Azusa v. Charter Oak, and Village Christian v. Brethren Christian--each school's schedule has the game taking place at the opponent's home court.. Frankly we don't have a clue which is correct. . .
