HoopScoop's Top 250 National
Rankings By Position--(July 3, 2001)

Top 50 Point Guards   Top 50 Second Guards Top 50 Wing Forwards  Top 50 Power Forwards Top 50 Centers

Each year since 1983, Clark Francis of the HoopScoop has published a pre-summer list of top rising seniors,  ranking each of the top 50 players by position (point guards, shooting guards--what they refer to as "second guards", wing forwards, power forwards, and centers)--250 players in all by position.  This year the HoopScoop posted the lists of rankings by position on Monday.  They can be accessed in their original format by visiting the HoopScoop (just click on the link above), and we've also reformatted the data in individual listings to make it a bit more readable.  The HoopScoop has great information, but the graphics are sometimes a bit hard on the eyes when it comes to the tables and lists....The daily recruiting tidbits though are a bit easier to read (with a nice grey background and easy to read fonts) and besides the information is just about the best anywhere to be found.  Sometimes the daily recruiting info is controversial,  but it's always interesting.    The HoopScoop's Pre Summer Ranking of Players By Position (which is what the collection of Top 50 players by position is called) was published yesterdayand there are some really excellent players, including some from California.  We've culled out the separate list of Top 50 players (by position) from California, which can be easily accessed also by clicking on the link.
