Los Angeles, CA: ARC Instructional Academy Winter Session
When: December 5--Registration; League Play begins January through March 7.  Learn the fundamentals from current and former high school coaches. Develop the skills to become a top high school player. Traveling teams will be formed. Any team can enter league competition. ARC division tournament for all teams after completion of league play, plus eventual regional and national tournaments. Redondo Beach/Los Angeles, CA: 48th Annual Pacific Shores Tournament

Fresno, CA: BCW Tip Off Hoop Invitational
When: December 1-4, 1999 at Clovis West High Schoo and Buchannan. Santa Monica, CA: The 37th Annual St. Monica Classic

Nordhoff-(Moorpark-Ojai-Santa Paula), CA: Nordhoff Boys Basketball Tournament
When: Early Dec. 1999 Location: Nordhoff High School. Teams will be mostly from the Frontier League (host Nordhoff), the Channel League (Channel Islands, Hueneme), Tri-Valley League (Fillmore), and Condor League (Thacher), and others. Contact Nordhoff High for times and location.

Thousand Oaks, CA: 29th Annual Thousand Oaks Rotary Invitational

Huntington Beach, CA: Ocean View Tournament of Champions
When: Dec 6-11, 1999 Boys High School Varsity tournament, played at Ocean View High School, featuring some of the best teams in SoCal.  Sixteen team tournament with 4 game guarantee. Los Angeles/West Hills, CA: 2nd Annual Chaminade Christmas Classic
When: Mid Dec.,1999. The Chaminade Christmas Classic is held at Chaminade College Prep, and it is for Boys Varsity teams. There is a three game guarantee, with awards for the champion, second place and the consolation champion, as well as individual awards for all tournament, best three point shooter, and the player with the most hustle. Redondo Beach/Los Angeles: Redondo Union 6th Annual Sea Hawk Classic
When: Mid Dec. 1999 at Redondo Beach Union High School. Mission Viejo, CA: Trabuco Hills-Reebok 11th Annual Millenium Classic

Los Angeles. CA: La Salle-Temple Tip-Off Tournament

Long Beach/Los Angeles: The Best in the West Tournament
When: Late Dec. 1999 at Long Beach City College. Last year the field was expanded to 36 teams. The Tournament is considered one of the most prestigious December prep tournaments in California. Last year the BIW's top four seeds were State Champion Westchester, CIF Semi-Finalist Long Beach Poly, CIF D-1 Finalists Artesia and Southern Section Semi Finalists Compton.

Los Angeles/Santa Clarita: 28th Annual Hart High Holiday Classic

San Diego, CA: Nike Prep Invitiational Championships

Costa Mesa, CA: Orange Coast College Tournament
When: Dec. 2-4, 1999.  Held at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa.   Teams include Orange Coast College, Imperial Valley CC, Long Beach City College,   LA Valley College, Cypress College, El Camino College, Victor Valley College and Golden West.

San Diego, CA: Over the Top's Millenium Madness Basketball Tournament
When: December 4 & 5, 1999. Boys divisions 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, Games will be played in San Marcos CA , Hosted by Over the Top (OTT). Los Angeles, CA: 4th Annual 4"D" Stars /NJB Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament
When: Dec 27-29, 1999. Boys Age: 10, 11, 12, 13, & 14. Girls: 5th & 6th Grade, 7th & 8th Grade; Played at South Bay High Schools. Hosted jointly by National Junior Basketball and 4 "D" All Stars. Sacramento,CA:  Jesuit High School "Father Berry Christmas Classic"
When: December 9-11, 1999. Annual Boy's High School Tournament,  Hosted by Sacramento Jesuit.  An all-Catholic school tourney, featuring some of the top teams in NorCal, and even a few from SoCal (USDHS is a perennial invitee and past champion). NorCal teams this year will include St. Ignatius, Bishop O'Dowd, and others.

When: First week in December Boys & Girls tournament for grades 6, 7 and 8 (12-U, 13-U, 14-U). Tournament is run by the San Francisco Fire Department. $100 entry fee, 2 game guarantee. Daly City, CA: Tim McGillicuty Tournament
When: First & Second weeks in December Boys grades 5, 6, 7 and 8 (11-U, 12-U, 13-U, 14-U). Tourney is run by the Daly City Parks & Rec. Dept., hosting more than 100 teams. School teams only. Entry fee $75. 5th and 8th grade teams play in the first week, while 6th and 7th grade teams play the following week. Sacramento, CA: NJB NorCal All-Net Christmas Tournament
When: second week in December Boys & Girls Grades 2 through 8. Tournament featuring between 36 and 40 teams. NJB qualifying event for NJB State Tournament in Orange County, played in July. Sacramento, CA: Encina High School Sacramento Roundball Classic
When: second week in December Boys Varsity tournament. 8 team field with a three game guarantee. Team trophies are awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place teams. Individual trophies are awarded for the championship team players. Individual awards are also awarded for the all-tournament team and MVP. All players receive a T-shirt. When: Third week in December Boys Frosh teams. This tournament for freshman boys features an 8 team field with a three game guarantee. Team trophies are awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place teams. Individual trophies are awarded for the championship team players. Individual awards are also awarded for the all-tournament team and MVP. All players receive a T-shirt. Cost is $125 per team. Sacramento, CA: Cordova HS Tournament
When: December 28-30, 1999. Boys team tournament held at Cordova High School. Teams from the Sacramento and Sac-Joaquin area, including Grant, Davis, Encina, Elk Grove, Fairfield and others.

Las Vegas, NV: Reebok Holiday Classic
When: December 18-22, 1999. National invitational tournament held at Durango HS in Las Vegas.  National field includes several local teams from SoCal, including Fairfax, Long Beach Jordan, Long Beach Poly, Westchester, Simi Vally, Harvard-Westlake, North Hollywood, Gardena Serra, and others.   For the first time this year, the tournament will be broken up into various divisions, in order to make it more competitive for some of the smaller schools participating.  For further information contact Larry McKay or Shari Holmes at (702) 799-5454
