2000-2001 high school team profiles

This is our fourth year featuring CIF high school team profiles and previews. The list is short right now, but it will continue to grow through November and December. We've added some new features this season (schedules for each team), and also pared down on the length and depth of some of the previews in order to cover more teams this season, and get the roster information up and out as soon as possible. We don't think it's possible to feature every team in SoCal: There are more than 500 schools in the Southern Section alone, close to 700 in the entire SoCal region (Southern Section, LA City, San Diego and Central Sections of CIF). We'll try to feature many of the top teams in each league and division though so you can follow your favorite teams. Past profiles from 1997-1998, 1998-1999, and 1999-2000, are available in the archives.
