Los Angeles, CA: ARC Instructional
Academy Fall Session
When: Continuing through
November 15
Learn the fundamentals from current and former high school
coaches. Develop the skills to become a top high school player.
Traveling teams will be formed. Any team can enter league
competition. ARC division tournament for all teams after
completion of league play, plus eventual regional and national
tournaments. Former ARC players include NBA Stars: Jason Kidd,
Shawn Kemp, Byron Scott, Don MacLean, Trevor Wilson, Tracy
Murray, Mitchell Butler, Chris Mills, Sean Higgins, Steve Kerr,
Sean Rooks, Tom Hammonds, Dwayne Schintzius, Ronnie Grandison,
Darrick Martin, and James Cotton. Games and league play at North
Hollywood High, Pierce College in Woodland Hills, various schools
in Burbank, Olive Rec Center, and now in Orange County. For more

Los Angeles, CA: ARC Future Stars
High School JV & Varsity Fall Leagues
When: Continuing through
Nov. 15. For
grades 9-12. On-site tournament at end of 5 week session of
league play. Winners at each site will advance to a regional
playoff in order to determine the fall league championship.
Played at three locations, North Hollywood High School, Camarillo
High School, and Nogales High School. . Registration at North
Hollywood, Sunday, September 20 for Boys Varsity and JV and Girls
Varsity and JV at 10:00 A.M.; Registration at Camarillo High
School on Sunday, September 20 for Boys Varsity and JV and Girls
Varsity and JV at 4:00 P.M; and at Nogales High School on
Tuesday, September 22 for Boys Varsity and JV and Girls Varsity
and JV at 7:00 P.M. Players can join the league as part of a
team, or register individually. No limit to the number of players
per school who may play on the same team. Cost per team $485 for
10 players; each additional player $48.50. Payment in cash,
cashiers check or money order, payable to "ARC."
Teams may use uniforms from previous ARC leagues, or other
uniforms, as long as the school name is not on the practice
uniform (to comply with CIF rules). Uniforms are available at $10
a set (reversible jersey and shorts) for poly-cotton, or $20 a
set for mesh. Play begins one week after registration. For more

teams and All-Net/NJB recreational teams. Boys only, grades 5-8.
Separate divisions for traveling all-star teams and All-Net

Classic

Approximately 40-50 teams will participate. $165 entry fee.

Junior Basketball Tournament

Week in November.
For Boys & Girls, Grades 5-8. Entry fee $175.00 per team. 3
games guarantee. Held in Kellogg Gymnasium on the campus of Cal
Poly Pomona. Eight, twelve, or sixteen teams will be in each

Club Teams, Boys Ages 9-14; Girls 5th/6th grade, 7th/8th grade
brackets. Entry fee: $285.00 for Boys teams; $185.00 for Girls'

Weekend. Boys and Girls Club Teams. Boys 10, 11, 12,

played in the Carson/Torrance area. Boys division: $295 entry
fee, 3 game minimum. Separate divisions for grades 4-8. Girls
division: $295 entry fee, 3 game minimum. This is one of the
oldest traveling all star team tournaments in California.
