Santa Barbara, CA: Snow Valley Basketball Camp, Session II
When: Early August, 1999 Where: Westmont College, Santa Barbara, California. Top flight camp, featuring solid instruction and great competition among the elite players in SoCal.

Las Vegas, NV: 15th Annual Nike Summer Las Vegas Summer Classic
When: August 11-14, 1999. The 15th Annual Las Vegas Summer Nike Classic features divisions for just about every age bracket: Boys 11, 12, 13, 14 15 & Varsity; Girls 12 & under, 14 & under and Varsity. All games will be played under high school rules (presumably Nevada rules, which is 20 minute halves, stop clock, etc). Fee is $395.00 per team, plus a $100 fee per team (for a performance bond) and an additional $6.00 per player for insurance. Registration must be sent by July 20. Entries sent after July 20 will be subject to an additional $25.00 surcharge (i.e., $420 to register).

Houston, Tx; Rochester, NY; Cherry Hill, NJ: JCC 1999 Maccabi Youth Games.
When: August 13-21, 1999. The JCC Maccabi Games will be held at three locations and will feature some of the top 13-14 and 15-16 (high school) basketball players in the country. For further information visit the JCC Maccabi website at http://www.jccmaccabi.org.

Hawaii, HI: ARC Hawaiian Hoop Luau
When: August 17-23, 1999. Here's how Rich Goldberg of ARC has described this planned tournament: "The island paradise of Hawaii beckons to the nation's traveling team coaches to bring their squads to the Hawaiian Hoop Luau.
